Oversight Declaration
Directed by Elena Simpson, Digital Sovereignty Officer
"Privacy is the bedrock of stewardship. In the Sanctuary, your data is a biological record, not a commodity. We have engineered this environment to ensure you remain the sole owner of your heritage."
1. The Offline-First Mandate
The Ancestor Media System is built on an Offline-First architecture. This means that when you utilize our diagnostic tools—such as the DNA Check or Calendar Shift—all calculations are performed locally within your browser's memory. No family data, centimorgan counts, or historical dates are transmitted to our servers.
2. Zero-Server Data Handling
Unlike traditional genealogical platforms, we do not maintain a centralized database of your family trees or media. Your records are processed "in-flight" for metadata embedding and optimization. Once your session ends, the Sanctuary retains no memory of your files. You are the sole Steward of your archive.
3. Stewardship of Sessions
We use local browser storage to remember your Sanctuary Voice (Lucinda) and your acknowledgment of the Sovereign Protocol. These stay on your machine and are never used for tracking or advertising purposes.
4. Rejection of AI Scraping
We explicitly prohibit the use of any data within the Sanctuary for the training of Large Language Models (LLMs) or generative AI. Our Human Veto verified badge is your assurance that no automated process will ever be permitted to "smooth" your family record.
"The record is yours. The Sanctuary is the vault. Stewardship is the key."
The Anti-Cloning Mandate
Our commitment to your privacy is part of a larger mission to defend human history from unauthorized replication and generative theft.
